PAYMENT: A $50 deposit is required before the artwork will be started, which goes toward the final cost of the commission. Full balance is due upon final approval of the artwork. Payment must be completed before artwork will be shipped. Payments may be made in cash (for pickup only), Venmo, Cashapp, or e-transfer or Credit Card via PayPal. Commission timelines will be discussed via e-mail.

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION: Artwork can be modified if a minor edit needs to be made, especially if a detail was forgotten of the subject (that is shown on the reference) or a mistake is made in depicting the subject (must also be visible on the reference). However, this does not mean that major changes will be made involving anything that was not mentioned in the original request. Communication must be made in full if anything needs to be altered when the sketch is sent for approval, otherwise a fee will be added if any major changes were requested after the artwork is complete.

ORDER CANCELLATION: Custom artwork is created for its personal appeal to a specific client and cannot be sold to another, therefore cancelling an order carries a responsibility. The initial deposit is not a holding deposit but a partial payment on commissioned work. Work can commence immediately following an agreement, therefore should a cancellation occur, the value of invested time/costs up to that point must be compensated. If early into the creation phase, a cancellation fee of 20-80% of the deposit amount will be assessed to cover invested time on consultation, composition drafts, drawing and material costs, etc. If over 25% of the artwork is complete, no refund can be granted. Refunds cannot be made to a third party.

SHIPPING: Shipping costs are not included in the price of a commissioned artwork. It is the client's responsibility to make sure they have provided the correct shipping address, which can be checked and confirmed on the client's final invoice. If an incorrect address was provided and the artwork is sent out, it is the client's responsibility to pay any additional fees associated with having the artwork returned or reshipped.

Email photos: Contact James using the contact form. James will reply, at which point you can send images of your subject along with your name and the subject’s info.
Confirmation: James will confirm that your photo was received and the agreement form was signed. If no photo arrives within 24 hours of your order, you’ll be contacted via your e-mail or phone number (if you provided one)!

This deposit is both a partial payment towards the commission and is required to save your space in the queue. The amount paid in the deposit goes TOWARD your full commission cost, it is not extra. The full balance is due upon final approval of the artwork. Payment must be completed before artwork will be delivered/shipped.
