You agree to never modify my artwork and never remove or hide my signature. I will modify my artwork if a minor edit needs to be made, especially if I forgot a detail of the subject (that is shown on the reference) or made a mistake in depicting the subject (must also be visible on the reference). However, this does not mean that I will make any major changes to my artwork involving anything that was not mentioned in the original request. You agree to communicate in full if anything needs to be altered when I send the sketch, otherwise a fee will be added if a major change was requested after I completed the artwork.
You agree to send payment after I accept the artwork agreement or after the artwork is completed (depending on the initial agreement).
You agree to never resell my artwork to anyone without having my permission beforehand.
You agree to never claim that artwork by me is your own work, or the work of anyone other than me.
You agree to never make copies of or scan any artwork I’ve made. Prints of commissioned artwork can be purchased from me at my normal print prices.
You agree to use the artwork you commissioned from me solely for yourself, unless you stated at the start of the commission that it was a gift or intended for use by other specified people.
You acknowledge that I reserve the right to modify my own prices and terms of service at any given time, and that I can decline to do any artwork if I deem to do so at any given time. However, if I decline an artwork after I started working on it and payment was received, I will partially refund you according to the amount of work completed, and you will receive the work that was done. In most circumstances I will never start an art piece unless I intend to finish it.
GIFT VOUCHERS: Gift vouchers must be paid in full at the time of purchase and cannot be redeemed for cash. The ordering process and terms are the same for a voucher recipient as they are for any other client. Any extra features desired at the time of redeeming will incur an additional charge at the current listed prices.
SALES AND PROMOS: During a “percentage off” promo, special reductions are only given and applied to standard artwork prices. These reductions will not be applied to extra features that are added onto the final artwork price. Social media promos for new Facebook & Instagram followers are a one time offer and will apply to first standard artwork order only.
REPRODUCTION RIGHTS: Commissioned artwork is intended for personal use only and cannot be used for financial gain. Reproduction rights remain with the artist, so commission reproductions can sometimes be made by the artist and sold as prints or for promotional purposes.
You acknowledge that I retain full copyright to the artwork. You acknowledge that I will put up commissioned artwork in my online portfolios, and that I reserve the sole right to sell prints and other derivatives of it. Access to the full resolution, native file of your commissioned piece and copyright license for personal use* only can be purchased for an additional 50% of the original cost of the commission.
* Personal use: making copies of the commissioned artwork for your own private use. The commissioned piece can be copied in full. Copies cannot be lent or shared with anyone, nor sold.
A commercial use copyright license for my artwork (for reselling or profit-making purposes) is unavailable for purchase at this time.
